Nemie High School is proud to have participated in the UNICEF Nigeria “Yes Girl” podcast & Focus Group Programme 2026, in collaboration with the Osun State Ministry of Education, held on the 5th and 6th of May, 2026.
It was a two-day programme::
Day 1 was held at the Cinema Hall, Osun Mall, and
Day 2 took place at Nemie High School Hall.
Launch in March 2026 to commemorate International Women’s Day, the “Yes Girl” initiative empowers girls aged 9-19 to lead conversations on education, mental health, menstrual hygiene, HPV prevention, gender equality, and climate action.
Our students are actively participated in watch sessions and focus group discussions across both days, representing Nemie High School on a national platform and amplifying the voices of the girl child.
